Safari World Thailand

SAFARI WORLD
Samwatawantok, Klongsamwa, Bangkok, Thailand

My family and I went to Safari World Thailand on the 14th day of September 2009.  We had a great time being out of our very busy schedule in the office.  Upon our arrival at the vicinity, we were really caught in awe for the vast land housing different herds and flocks and groups of animals (crawling and walking), birds and sea creatures.  We brought our niece (8 years old then) and nephew (3 years old then) with us and they really enjoyed the ambience, the child-friendly creatures and the shuttle bus which gave us a tour around the wide fieldspan.

For those who are interested in visiting Safari World, I encourage you to go there very early in the morning so you get to maximize your time, get to tour around all of the attractions in the zoo.

Kingdom of Cambodia

The Kingdom of Cambodia, sited in Mekong River sub-region, is being bordered by the Kingdom of Thailand (west and north), by the Kingdom of Laos (north), by Vietnam (east and north-east) and the gulf of Thailand (south-west).

Cambodia has 24 provinces and municipalities with topography that's generally comprised of low and flat plains but the kingdom also has mountain ranges in the south-west and north-east corners.  Its highest peak is Mt. Aoral on the border between Pursat and Kampong Chnang provinces.

Like the Kingdom of Thailand, Cambodia has 3 seasons as well, namely: RAINY SEASON, COOL SEASON AND HOT SEASON.

RAINY SEASON falls from early June to end of October with an average temperature range of 27 to 36 degrees celcius.

COOL SEASON falls from November to February with an average temperature range of 17 to 28 degrees celcius.

HOT SEASON falls from end of February up to the end of May with an average temperature range of 29 to 40 degrees celcius.

Furthermore, it may be noted that the coolest temperature can be as low as 10 degrees celcius in the hills.

There are Muslims, Christians and others living in this country of about 11.7 million population as of year 2000 census.  About 1.3 millions are said to be living in its capital Phnom Penh.

I went to Phnom Penh for the purpose of visiting the place and having my tourist visa to Thailand renewed.  I've been to Phnom Penh for 3 times already and I really liked my stay both in Star Vegas Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel.
